Today, Flt Studio and Gamera Games excitedly announced the release of their indie roguelike, farming sim and RPG Garlant: My Story in the fourth quarter of 2023. It will simultaneously release in both the Nintendo Switch and Steam platforms.
The trailer of Garlant: My Story was debuted at Tokyo Game Show 2023, introducing the game’s core mechanics. With its classic roguelike gameplay, mix of combat, management, and farming, players will explore the desolate town of Gāranto, fighting against monsters to gather resources and save the townsfolk.
In Garlant: My Story, players will take on the role of a hunter in Gāranto, a small and decadent town currently facing an onslaught of infected monsters. Players will need to explore areas to face enemies, bosses, and even the Crystal Tower, while gathering materials and resources to strengthen their character and defeat monsters to obtain gear. As they progress, they will also be able to expand their farms, craft various materials and interact with the townsfolk in order to uncover the hidden secrets of the game.
As players embark on their story-driven adventure, they will need to utilize every available interaction and technique at their disposal to face formidable enemies. Combining their skills and equipment cleverly, it is up to them to become the hero and save the town of Gāranto. Features such as strategic roguelike gameplay, combat, crafting, farming, and character-building offer an exhilarating adventure unlike any other.
