Atari’s Quantum: Recharged Warp-Speeds to PC and Consoles Later This Month

Atari recently announced that its upcoming retro-inspired game – Quantum: Recharged – will be releasing on August 17, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Series X|S.

Staying true to its classic roots, Quantum: Recharged challenges players to vanquish their foes by using their ship’s maneuverability instead of guns and missiles. The game also features energizing beats from the award-winning composer Megan McDuffie and offers numerous power-ups to aid in the fight.

In Quantum: Recharged, you traverse through 25 different levels and take on 2 modes — Challenge Mode and Arcade Mode — of gameplay. For the ultimate challenge, you can team up with a friend and fight against progressively more dangerous enemies in co-op mode. Additionally, you can compete on global leaderboards in both Arcade and Challenge mode.
