LEGEND BOWL brings retro American Football sim glory and depth on August 9th

The highly-anticipated sports simulation game, LEGEND BOWL, has had its release date finally confirmed for Aug. 9, 2023 for all major consoles. Sports and retro gaming fans have been eagerly awaiting the drop of LEGEND BOWL after hearing it’s praised for offering some of the deepest simulation elements within the genre.

Developer Super Pixel Games and Publisher Top Hat Studios, Inc. have just released a new trailer, available above, to show off what all is to be expected from LEGEND BOWL on Aug. 9th.

Noting the confirmation, Top Hat Studios, Inc. Executive Producer Andy Andi Han said LEGEND BOWL took a “monumental amount of work…totalling over 7 million lines of code to get it working and optimized on console,” and expressed appreciation for the patience of fans.

With much to offer and a heavily detailed simulation experience, LEGEND BOWL‘s release promises to merge both retro and modern football sensibilities.

LEGEND BOWL will offer full player control and customization with a variety of hairstyles, faces, visors, earrings, hats, headbands and more to create dream teams.

With careful balancing of arcade style fun and realistic/sim gameplay mechanics, players will be able to feel the impact of every tackle, fumble, or kick. There are a variety of game modes to choose from, including Franchise mode for a coach experience, Tournament style play or just good old Exhibition mode.

Notably, LEGEND BOWL includes a time cycle lighting system to reflect realistic weather conditions, such as chill, heat, clear, cloudy, rain or snow. In-game features such as stat overlays, halftime stats, end of game stats, field art, live referees, mascots, advertisements, and fans provide an immersive stadium experience.

LEGEND BOWL looks to be the definitive indie American Football game. Be sure to join the discussion on the release on Aug. 9th at 9am US Eastern Time or 2pm UK time.
