Watch out! There’s an Army of Adversaries Poised to Do Anything and Everything to Stop Tiny Thor from Growing Up

Today, Gameforge – one of the leading Western publishers of MMORPGs – announced that 16-bit pixel platformer Tiny Thor is set to be released on Nintendo Switch on August 3rd.

To celebrate the upcoming launch and reward loyal fans, Tiny Thor will also undergo an update on July 31st that will include bug fixes and a new accessibility mode to make the game easier for beginners, with a Steam Sale of 20% running until August 7th.

Tiny Thor, developed by Asylum Square and published by Gameforge under its IndieForge label, combines old-school indie charm with modern gameplay. Featuring 16-bit graphics and tight controls, players take control of the pint-sized Norse god Thor, advancing through 36 immersive levels, using a mini-Mjölnir hammer and its special abilities to defeat enemies and complete puzzles.

The game features artwork from veteran pixel artist Henk Nieborg (Spyro: A Hero’s Tail, Contra 4, Shantae series) and an original soundtrack from Chris Hülsbeck (Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, Turrican) to enhance the classic gaming aesthetic.

Players can look forward to taking the Tiny Thor adventure on the go with the Switch release, but they can also pick it up on Windows PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. There’s also a Ragnarok n’ Roll Edition, which includes the game and official soundtrack, for PC and a limited 20% discount only available on Steam from July 31st until August 7th.

With so many ways to enjoy Tiny Thor, now is the perfect time for old and new fans alike to embrace its joyous retro charm and legendary hammer-powered combat.
