Ratalaika Games and Route 5 Games have announced the soon to be released action-puzzle extravaganza, Gematombe, set to be released for Sony PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch on April 28th, 2023.
Gematombe draws inspiration from titles such as Arkanoid, Puzzle Bobble, Breakout, Puyo-Puy, Touhou, and more. The game is essentially a puzzle Vs game, in which players must ‘crush’ their opponent or ‘clear’ the screen of gems to win.
Players can launch the ball to hit and break consecutive gems of the same color to achieve incredible chain reactions, as well as maximize their chain combos and clear their screen area of gems.
The game follows the story of Pandora and her journey to capture all the evils released in the world. Players can choose from a cast of six characters, each with unique abilities, and progress through the game’s 60 levels, six campaigns, and humorous cut scenes.
Gematombe releases on April 28th, 2023 and is sure to provide players with an addictive and challenging game experience.
