A Light in the Dark Coming on April 5, 2023

Japanese voice talent to appear at Anime Central 2023 to promote the release.

Sekai Project is excited to announce that the dramatic visual novel, A Light in the Dark, will be released on both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on April 5, 2023. To celebrate the release, the Japanese voice actresses Yurika Kubo and Kana Ichinose will be appearing as guests at Anime Central in Rosemont, Illinois, from May 19 -21, 2023.

A Light in the Dark puts players in the shoes of Hao-Chen Jiang, a young man who wakes up to find himself tied to a chair in a strange room with a kidnapper standing before him.

During his days of imprisonment, Hao-Chen and the kidnapper will learn of a world that they were never aware of, and make choices that will affect the story’s multiple endings.

The game also includes a Timed Decision System, Action Mode, and multiple endings. Players must make quick decisions within the time limit to move the story forward, and ask questions to kidnappers in Talk Mode or examine their surroundings in Observation Mode as they formulate a plan to escape.

The console release of A Light in the Dark features the addition of Japanese language and voice acting, featuring the voice talents of Yurika Kubo (Hanayo Koizumi, Love Live!; Kikyo Kushida, Classroom of the Elite; Margaret Farom, The Legendary Hero is Dead!) and Kana Ichinose (Ichigo, DARLING in the FRANXX; Yuzuriha Ogawa, Dr. Stone; Maki Shijou, Kaguya-sama: Love is War; Suletta Mercury, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury).
