A Dark Room Free Update Arrives on Nintendo Switch eShop

CIRCLE Entertainment and Amir Rajan has just confirmed that the text adventure A Dark Room will receive a free update today on the Nintendo Switch eShop in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand to add a Game Boy-inspired aesthetic, matching the recent Japanese release.

A Dark Room is an innovative text-based adventure that harkens back to the magic of Zork, adding a modern spin on a classic genre and time in gaming. It is fully revamped on Nintendo Switch eShop and is currently on a 40% discount priced at $4.19USD / €4,19 until 2nd July.

A Dark Room challenges the player’s perceptions, actions and imagination. Visually clean, it presents text and cues with limited visual flourishes, but the experience that takes shape is full of depth and environmental storytelling. Newly designed audio is also important, portraying a dark world that the player can only imagine.
