Free Final Update to Super Mario Maker 2 Adds World-Building Mode and New Course Parts The Super Mario Maker 2 game allows players to unleash their creativity with more new options and the ability to create their own world map. On April 22, the free final update to Super Mario Maker 2 for the Nintendo Switch system adds a new World Maker mode, as well as a host of new content and features. In World Maker mode, multiple courses created by a user can be tied together on a path from the starting point on a world map to the end castle. The look of the world map can also be customized. Super Mario Maker 2 Sees Link From The Legend of Zelda Join as a Playable Character

The Super Mario Maker 2 game is getting a legendary update. On Dec. 5, a free update to Super Mario Maker 2 for the Nintendo Switch system adds Link from the Legend of Zelda series as a playable character, new course parts and a new gameplay mode. After downloading the Ver. 2.0.0 update, the new Master Sword item will be available to use exclusively in the 8-bit Super Mario Bros. style. When this new course part is picked up, Mario will transform into Link, equipped with a new set of moves like attacking with a sword, shooting arrows and dropping bombs. Free Super Mario Maker 2 Update Adds the Ability to Play Directly with Friends in Online Multiplayer Modes

Call your friends! After downloading the free Version 1.1.0 update in the Super Mario Maker 2 game, you’ll now have the ability to play co-op and versus multiplayer with people on your Nintendo Switch friends list. The update is available starting today, and lets you hop online* in Multiplayer Versus or Multiplayer Co-op and play with friends, in addition to the previously available option to play with randomly selected players. While playing with friends, you will also be able to select the difficulty in Course World and choose which courses to play from your list of locally saved courses in Coursebot. In addition to this multiplayer update, the free software update also adds a list of Official Makers in the Leaderboards section. Video game competitors from all around the world came to Los Angeles to battle in Nintendo tournaments and prove they were among the best Nintendo Switch players. Multiple champions were crowned in the Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational 2019, Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3v3 tournaments. The competitions set the stage for a week of fun activity at the E3 2019 video game trade show. Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational 2019 AbdallahSmash026 defeated The Completionist by navigating imaginative courses created by the Nintendo Treehouse staff.
