To celebrate the Pokémon video game series and the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games, Nintendo showcased a hand-painted mural at PAX East 2024. The mural highlights the unique character transformation mechanic called “Terastallization” and features a fun design with the Pokémon Eevee, taking center stage. Attending Trainers also had the opportunity to meet Pikachu and Eevee costume characters, interact with the mural and demo the latest entries in the Pokémon RPG series. Splatoon 3 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe North American Finals Highlight Four Days of Competitive Activities for Fans Today Nintendo announced their plans to attend PAX East in Boston from March 23-26 with a variety of exciting activities. Among these activities include the NintendoVS Arcade, which will feature recent and classic games on the Nintendo Switch system. There will also be two tournaments, the Splatoon 3 North American Championship 2023 and the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Championship Cup 2023, featuring some of the best players in North America. “We are always finding ways to create a more consistent, fun and welcoming competitive environment for our players and fans,” said Bill Trinen, Vice President of Player & Product Experience at Nintendo of America. A country divided by The Wall. To cross it and reach your family, you must compete on – and win – a reality TV show broadcast by the Regime. Ministry of Broadcast is a narrative-driven single player cinematic platformer mixing Orwell’s 1984 with modern reality TV. Rife with dark humor, sarcastic quips, and a general absurdity of the system.
Seemingly built overnight, The Wall has divided both a country in two and a man from his family. To see them again, our ginger-haired protagonist has decided to become a contestant on “The Wall Show”, a Regime-organized TV show allowing competitors the opportunity to escape to freedom on the other side. However, as he progresses through the camp, our contestant soon realises exactly how the Regime and the show operate. The promise of freedom is not exactly what it seems.
