Nintendo adds new games weekly to Nintendo eShop, which offers a variety of options for the Nintendo Switch console, the Wii U console and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service that features a wide variety of content, including new and classic games, applications and demos. Users can add money to their account balances by using a credit card or purchasing a Nintendo eShop Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. Some of the best Splatoon 2 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players are packing up their Splattershots and Smash Balls and are headed to Japan to represent North America in a global tournament. The tournament featuring competitive Nintendo Switch games kicks off on Oct. 12 at Nintendo Live, an event in Kyoto, Japan. This is the first year that Nintendo Live has invited players from any countries outside Japan to compete in Splatoon 2 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
