Fans of the Warhammer 40000 universe have reason to rejoice as publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Auroch Digital announce the release of Warhammer 40000: Boltgun, an explosive homage to retro shooters set in the iconic sci-fi universe.

The indie first-person shooter will be released on May 23, 2023, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Players who pre-order the game will receive a boomer shooter gameplay video that showcases the game’s intense action and cinematic footage.

In Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, players will take control of a Sternguard Veteran, who is summoned by the Inquisition to Scour Graia, a Forge World that is on the brink of destruction. Players must use their righteous arsenal, indomitable armor, and battle-honed instincts to defeat cultists, traitors, and daemons. Today, Super Rare Games has announced that they are teaming up with Chromatic Games to bring Dungeon Defenders Awakened to Nintendo Switch for the first time. This action-RPG tower defense game allows players to team up and defend Etheria from hordes of enemies. In Dungeon Defenders Awakened, players can build their team and protect the Eternia crystals by assembling defensive blockades and damage-dealing towers.
