Longtime Nintendo Leader Expands Responsibilities in New Role Nintendo of America today named Devon Pritchard Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Communications, following her tenure as the acting executive in that role since November 2021. A member of the Nintendo of America team for 16 years, Pritchard previously served as Executive Vice President of Business Affairs and Publisher Relations. While serving recently as the acting head of Sales, Marketing and Communications, Pritchard has overseen major Nintendo Switch game launches like Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Nintendo Switch Sports. Nintendo management reported yesterday, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington imposed a 40-month sentence upon Gary W. Bowser, one of the leaders of the Team Xecuter criminal enterprise, which created and sold console hacking software and devices used to play pirated Nintendo Switch games. Nintendo appreciates the hard work and tireless efforts of federal prosecutors and law enforcement agencies to curb illegal activities on a global scale that cause serious harm to Nintendo and the video game industry.
