Animal Crossing: City Folk gets "date" for Europe, plus name change
Looks like it's going to be the same little adventure as Australia. The latest iteration of the Animal Crossing franchise is coming to Europe in December, now suffixed with Let's Go to the City.
Previously sporting the suffix City Folk, the newly monikered Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City is scheduled to release across Europe in December, meaning it comes soon after the US release of November 16 – a small delay in light of the two year wait that European gamers had to endure for the GameCube version.
That's right, fellas. If you're asking for just one Wii game this Christmas, then you'd better make your choice quickly because Animal Crossing should seriously stay up there at the top.
We'll keep you updated.
First 9 minutes of footage from Disaster: Day of Crisis
Looks like the long-awaited hardcore survival game finally has some serious gameplay to show us!
Apparently the game has already reached greedy gamer hands in Japan as it released earlier today, and some have already captured some initial goodness from Disaster.
Check out the first 9 minutes from the game.

Nintendo WFC Online Activity - Week Ending Dec. 23rd
So far Nintendo has shown no signs of stopping their online service, despite being considered the worst offer of the three companies when regarding overall ease of use and capabilities.
Despite this, the service has been known to be a huge success in every continent. Of course, Pokémon Diamond/Pearl remains in first place by far, while other newly-introduced titles are starting to wipe out the competition. The numbers are as follows:
1. [NDS] Pokémon Diamond & Pearl - 1,406,595 connections
2. [WII] Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock - 657,787 connections
3. [NDS] Mario Kart DS - 293,901 connections
4. [NDS] Animal Crossing: Wild World - 283,666 connections
5. [NDS] Metroid Prime Hunters - 174,858 connections
6. [WII] Mario Strikers Charged - 142,262 connections
7. [WII] Pokémon Battle Revolution - 133,156 connections
8. [NDS] Ryuusei no RockMan 2: Berserk & Shinobi/Dinosaur - 120,031 connections
9. [NDS] Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters: World Championship 2008 - 113,767 connections
10. [NDS] Jump! Ultimate Stars - 95,669 connections
Looks like Guitar Hero made a pretty reasonable entry in the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, as it instantly reached 2nd place. Will it remain the same in a few months, however? We'll keep you updated.
Wow... it's been a while.
Alright... it's been quite the time since I started posting on this little blog again...
I guess I should get started, no? :D
Starting today, I'll be posting a few times every week just to keep you updated on the latest and greatest of the gaming industry, and its fandom. Want an easy source for news, and occasionally some reviews, too? Then you've stumbled upon the best place for that.
Most of the writing that I'll be submitting here comes from the main website I "work" in, Play-Nintendo.com. It's a fun community, and I'm sure everybody'll be happy to see you there, too.
So anyway, I guess this marks the start of a new little era for waka's blog. ;)
I'll see you guys soon!
