2021: Moon Escape an Adventure RPG with Real Time Combat Announced

Incube8 Games and indie developer Mike Yamato today announced the release of 2021: Moon Escape for the Nintendo Game Boy. The game is available in physical cartridges and digital versions, and will also be getting a self-released (digital format) on Nintendo Switch in the second week of May.

In 2021: Moon Escape, players take on the role of Tars Nunien, a paladin of the Marked Brotherhood, whose only mission is to return enemy war plans to the capital planet Astra Nova in the hope of organizing a desperate defense against the Kisur Barbarians.

The game’s world is an open-world adventure based on exploration, combat, and character progression, with the game world itself being a constant threat to the player’s survival and success. \

Players will be able to customize their character through a skill tree and upgradeable equipment, and the game features both a main quest and optional shrines.

In 2021: Moon Escape, players will experience an intense and emotional story as they explore their surroundings and make decisions that will ultimately affect the game’s alternative ending.

The standard edition of 2021: Moon Escape includes a sealed box, a clear cartridge, a clear cartridge protector, an instruction booklet, a 2021: Moon Escape stickers sheet, and a silkscreened PCB with artwork on the back side.

Incube8 Games and Mike Yamato have created an exciting new adventure in 2021: Moon Escape, and fans of the Nintendo Game Boy can now enjoy the game on physical cartridges and digital versions, with a Nintendo Switch version coming in the second week of May.
