Introducing Gene the Signimancer, Rachel the Mercenary and Tiggy "The Genius Professor"
Last week, we showed you the Daemons you can party up with in next year's The Alliance Alive!
Today, we're going to introduce three more characters who could help you out. First up, we have Gene, a signimancer which is a special type of mage that uses artifacts to wield magic, who belongs to the Signimancy Guild. He tends to look at the big picture and avoids acting emotionally. He is valued by the Daemons for his knowledge and eloquence. Next, we have Rachel, a mercenary employed by the Signimancy Guild. She's the opposite of Gene, with a fiery temperament, impulsively acting as soon as an idea pops into her head. She often argues with Gene because of their contrasting viewpoints. Though they argue, Gene and Rachel do set their views aside to fight for the cause. Finally, we have Tiggy, a young girl researching the global threat called the "Dark Current." She calls herself "The Genius Professor" and has used her intellect to create strange inventions. Don't underestimate these inventions just because of their silly animal looks ... monsters can't stand against them!
Watch Gene, Rachel, and Tiggy in action in the new trailer below!

However, the time for resistance has come. The world is about to change yet again...

Brawlout - A new challenger has appeared in the platform fighter arena! Brawlout is the party fighting game, designed for couch play, online matches and competitive tournaments.
Brawlout packs a punch with couch and online play modes, blending platform fighter mechanics and traditional fighting game play into a stylish and fluid battle royale.
Rather than slow-paced defensive battles, Brawlout goes all-out with the lightning-fast aerobatics which platform fighters are famous for.
Striking the balance between the growing competitive scene and the genre’s party game roots, Brawlout hopes to cater to the veteran platform fighter, the casual fan and the newcomer looking to make their mark.
Each character in Brawlout has their own unique playstyle, catering to specific character archetypes seen in other fighters. Whether you’re a die-hard grappler or a rushdown fiend, there is a fighter for you in Brawlout.
There are currently six original characters and two popular indie characters to choose from that allow for varied play styles. As well as cosmetic skins, each original Brawlout character has three Variants; alt versions of the character with different stats, outfits and even new moves. With these Variants, Brawlout’s cast numbers 18 individual fighters. Find the fighter and Variant that’s right for you and tear it up on the battlefield.
Combined with familiar movement techniques like wavedashing and airdodging, Brawlout adds some extra mechanics seen in other fighting games. The Rage Meter builds up as you both deal and take damage, allowing you either break combos with the Rage Burst or unleash hell with the Rage Mode. The Rage Burst pushes opponents back, breaking their combos and allowing players to create some breathing room at the cost of half their Rage Meter. If the meter fills, you can activate the Rage Mode, increasing the knockback you deal while reducing the amount you take.
As for modes, Brawlout has all you’d expect from a normal platform fighter and then some. Up to four players can compete in either timed, stock or team battles:
All on the same device
Each with their own device, without any internet connection, playing nearby
Online either with friends or other Brawlout players
AI opponents are also available if you want to practice your team combos with a friend, or if you need to fill out a free for all. Train with Advanced Tutorials or go in for yourself in challenging Arcade Towers.

IRVINE, Calif. -- Dec. 13, 2017 -- One thousand years ago, Humanity was subjugated by Daemons, but on March 27, 2018, you will have the chance to save the world and resist the Hierarchy in The Alliance Alive!
In the mean time, prepare yourself by learning more about the world of The Alliance Alive in our newly launched website. The updated website features the following:
Get an introduction into the story of The Alliance Alive
Meet the diverse characters from both the Human and Daemon race
Get educated on the battle system and the assortment of weapons
Explore the five different realms in the game
See the variety of unique vehicles including the Ornithopter and the Brionac
We've already introduced some of the human characters in our previous trailer, but let's talk about some of the more colorful members of the group. And by colorful, we mean Daemonic. Yes, you read that correctly; there are good Daemons that want to join the fight to help free Humanity!
First up, we have the mighty, no-nonsense, Beastfolk Barbarosa. Although he was once used as an instrument of war by the Daemons to enslave humanity, he is now a key member of the Night Ravens resistance group. His skills with an axe and loyalty to his friends are valuable assets in the battles to come. Up next, we have the dynamic duo of Vivian and Ignace. Vivian is a fox-like Daemon from another world who wishes to learn more about the curious creatures known as humans. She's a compassionate being that harbors no ill-will towards other species, but don't let her bubbly and friendly disposition fool you. Vivian is an extremely powerful sorceress who won't hesitate to use her powers for good. Finally, we have Vivian's servant, Ignace. Even though he's extremely pompous towards non-Daemons and clashes with some members of the party, his loyalty to Vivian is unwavering. Plus, he's pretty good in a scrap, so never count him out!
Check out the Daemonic trio in action in the new trailer below!
