Drill Man Rumble

All Driller, No Filler! Hand-Drawn Multiplayer Melee Brawler Drill Man Rumble Launching in November

Smash, Dash, and Drill Your Friends (or Drill Yourself Silly) in Action-Packed Single- and Competitive Multiplayer Game Modes

Neon Doctrine, a leading southeast Asian game publisher of popular indie titles such as Yuppie Psycho, The Legend of Tianding, Lamentum, and the acclaimed SIMULACRA series, and developer Hunter Studio have announced a multiplayer melee brawler title, Drill Man Rumble, at the Evo Indie Fighting Game Showcase. The frantic, hand-drawn 2D fighter will be available for PC and consoles in November 2023, and fans can wishlist the game on Steam now.

In Drill Man Rumble, players take the role of Drill Warriors, nominated by their tribes to take part in the Great Tournament! Choose one of 11 playable Drillers and battle it out across a variety of single and multiplayer game modes. Players face hardcore platforming challenges and leverage skills such as Rebounding Mayhem and Super Speed as they strive to become champion.

Players can master their Driller’s unique ability and avoid being hit — one hit takes them down — in the four-player Arena Mode (online or offline). Or hunt down their fellow Drillers for sport (and riches) in the endless, eight-player Bounty Mode or DIY (Drill It Yourself) in the single-player Drill Mountain story campaign. Plus, they can create their own hardcore platforming challenges with the game’s online map editor.

Neon Doctrine CEO Iain Garner said “Drill Man Rumble is one of Neon Doctrine’s most ambitious products to date, so we needed as much time in the toolshed to make a big splash with today’s reveal as possible. We’re so thrilled to show it off to the world and can’t wait to see what sort of fun players get up to when it comes to PC and consoles later this year.”
