Warner Bros. Games & DC Debut Batman: Arkham Trilogy Launch Trailer Revealing a New Character Suit from The Batman Film

Today, Warner Bros. Games and DC have revealed the official gameplay launch trailer for the upcoming release of the Batman: Arkham Trilogy for Nintendo Switch. This compilation of three award-winning titles from Rocksteady Studios will bring together Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight in one iconic package to be released on December 1, 2023.

The official trailer features gameplay from all three titles with a first look at a new Batman character suit, inspired by the Warner Bros Pictures hit film The Batman. This suit will be available exclusively in Batman: Arkham Knight on Nintendo Switch at launch, and will be made available in Batman: Arkham Knight on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC beginning December 15, 2023.

Developed for Nintendo Switch by Turn Me Up Games, Batman: Arkham Trilogy will include all previously released downloadable content from all three titles. Players can pre-order Batman: Arkham Trilogy now for $59.99 from the Nintendo Store.

Batman: Arkham Asylum, developed by Rocksteady Studios and released in 2009, set the stage for DC’s “Arkhamverse” and introduced players to a unique, dark, and atmospheric adventure to the depths of the infamous Arkham Asylum. The original story follows Batman as he confronts The Joker and other Gotham villains, including Harley Quinn, Bane, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, and Scarecrow, who have taken over the asylum.

Rocksteady Studios followed up in 2011 with Batman: Arkham City. This game enables players to soar through the expansive Arkham City to confront Gotham’s most dangerous criminals. This installment includes Catwoman, The Joker, The Riddler, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, and many other fearsome foes.

Batman: Arkham Knight, Rocksteady Studios’ 2015 finale, raises the stakes for The Dark Knight. Scarecrow is joined by the Arkham Knight, making his villainous debut in DC’s Batman Universe with a roster of notorious DC Super-Villains. Players join Batman and his allies as they mount the ultimate showdown in Gotham City, gaining access to the full Batman experience with the drivable Batmobile that features high-speed Pursuit Mode and military grade Battle Mode.

Fans have been eagerly anticipating this compilation of all three award-winning titles in the iconic Batman: Arkham Saga, and now looks to be the perfect time to experience (or re-experience!) the thrilling journey as The Dark Knight. Players can now pre-order Batman: Arkham Trilogy now for $59.99 (SRP) via the Nintendo Store.
