The game follows protagonist as he embarks on a heroic quest to find his childhood friend whose town has been overrun by demons. As he ventures through multiple unique locations expertly crafted by industry veteran, Shigatake from Vanillaware, he teams up with other characters and engages in thrilling battles against God-like bosses. Players must use magical abilities or take up swords and other weapons to defeat the monsters they Meet.

When asked about the game’s development KEIZO, the one-man developer, says he’s worked on the original game for an incredible 14 years, and closely with illustrator Shigatake and Haku Tatsufuchi to develop the Revision version.
