Fusion Paradox – Classy Indie Shooter Hits Consoles

Today, indie publisher Sometimes You and talented indie developer, Nikolai Usachev, have announced the upcoming release of Fusion Paradox, a unique top down roguelike action-shooter. On November 1st 2023, the game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.

Fusion Paradox offers an incredibly exciting experience full of obstacles, hordes of possessed enemies, and plenty of surprises, as you take on the role of one of the special agents for the Agency for Supernatural Threat Reduction in response to their red alert signal. Waking up in a secret laboratory, the hero soon realizes that all the agency employees have lost their minds, and he himself has been subjected to strange energy influences.

Passing through various obstacles and enemies, you must find the source of the threat in order to free the agency and prevent the danger from spreading to the outside world. The game combines the Scrolling Shooter and Action Roguelike genres, allowing you to switch between two states that each have their own characteristics and powers.

As you progress through the five floors located in different temporal and spatial dimensions, you will be able to access secret rooms and puzzles that offer additional bonuses.

Fusion Paradox also features classic roguelike mechanics such as procedurally generated floors, dozens of weapon types, unique skills, and various enemy types. As you make your way through the game, you can find power obelisks that give permanent bonuses to various attributes, such as extra lives, higher movement speed, and reduced cooldown times between dashes.

The game promises incredibly detailed graphics, thanks to the use of sophisticated game engine effects, as well as randomly generated spells, weapons, and other features that will provide a different experience each time you play.
