Faerie Afterlight Coming in September 2023 from Mastiff and Clay Game Studio

Enchanting 2D metroidvania game, Faerie Afterlight, locked in for a simultaneous Autumn launch with a newly revamped PC demo available to play now!

Mastiff, a leading independent video game publisher, have announced that their upcoming 2D fantasy action title Faerie Afterlight will be releasing on Steam for PC and the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch in September 2023. Players can now check out the remastered PC demo of the game on Steam and a demo version for the Nintendo Switch will be released soon.

In Faerie Afterlight, players will take simultaneous control of protagonists Kimo and Wispy as they venture through the infested caverns and ghostly cities of Lumina in search of broken shards of light. Along the way, the duo will solve puzzles, befriend residents, and battle corrupted Titans all while being accompanied by an enchanting soundtrack.

The game features unique environmental manipulation elements that will allow players to control platforms, walls, and other surfaces using Wispy’s special abilites and Kimo’s bouncing andrepulsion powers. Additionally, the pair will be able to use the abilities of special enemies and Titans to gain access to new and interesting areas of Lumina.

Faerie Afterlight’s artistic style is based on Indonesian philosophy and folk art and will allow gamers to explore a plethora of different terrains. From the deep seas to ruins tunnels, Players will be able to uncover hidden doorways and passages in forests, seascapes and cities.
