Ashina: The Red Witch – Story Led, Puzzle Encompassing Adventure out August 25!

Indie publisher Ratalaika Games and solo developer Stranga are excited to announce the upcoming release of Ashina: The Red Witch. Set in a mystical world of after-life, players will embark on a perilous journey with the protagonist Ash, a young ordinary girl, to save her twin sister, Tena, and find a way home.

Coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and Nintendo Switch on 25th August 2023, this engaging story-led adventure game offers a memorable experience as players explore a unique and thrilling narrative, filled with characters to meet, puzzles to solve, and secrets to uncover.

Players will find themselves in a world of hand-drawn pixel artwork and dynamic visual experiences as they explore diverse landscapes ranging from the town of Shiruta, the city and its sewers of Chikara, to the ancient forest. An immersive original musical score enhances the atmosphere and emotions of each scene while character dialogue options allow players to delve into the lore of the universe.

Crafted with a balance of action, puzzles, and investigation, Ashina: The Red Witch players will need to use their wits to succeed. Every decision, big or small, influences Ash’s development and the world’s fate, so it’s up to the players to explore, find items, repair things, and solve puzzles in order to progress.

It’s estimated that the game will offer 3-4 hours of gameplay, depending on the player’s choices.
