Discover the city of New Washington and immerse yourself in a breathtaking dystopian megalopolis

Explore the futuristic world of the 22nd century with the return of Flashback 2. Publisher Microids, Lyon/Paris Studios and Paul Cuisset have unveiled a brand new trailer for the game, focusing on the cyberpunk megalopolis of New Washington. Players will follow long-time protagonist Conrad B. Hart in a thrilling investigation to find his missing friend, Ian.

Famous for revolutionizing action gaming back in 1992 and maintaining it’s iconic status, Flashback 2 will bring fans an exciting experience as they face off against fierce enemies and powerful Mechas. The game will offer an incredibly in-depth journey with various sci-fi and cyberpunk environments to explore, including the world of New Tokyo and the jungle of Titan.

Supported by his AI-powered weapon A.I.S.H.A., Conrad will take part in intense combat and platform shooter sequences, all while uncovering the truth of the Morph invasion led by General Lazarus. Thanks to the vivid 3D environment crafted for even deeper immersion, this revived experience will be sure to bring players closer to the classic Flashback universe.

Designed and developed by the game’s original creator Paul Cuisset, Flashback 2 will feature music composed by renowned composer Raphaël Gesqua of the Amiga version of Flashback, and additional game design from Thierry Perreau.

Flashback 2 will be released on November 16th, 2023 in digital and retail (Europe) and December 5th, 2023 in retail (North America) for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
