XSEED Games has released its action-RPG AKIBA’S TRIP: Undead and Undressed Director’s Cut on the Nintendo Switch™ and it comes with the all-new content: “Kati’s Route”, a story chapter which follows the Finnish transfer student and part-time maid in her struggles with a mysterious and malevolent force awakening within her.
The DLC is available for the PS4™ system and Windows PC for $7.99/€7.99/£6.99.
The newly updated game faithfully recreates the early incarnation of Japan’s Akihabara district – complete with over 130 real life shops – as players take on the role of Nanashi, an otaku transformed into a vampire who must join the Akiba Freedom Fighters to protect the otaku from vampire predators.
Featuring an exciting combat system with individualized clothes-stripping techniques as well as the unique “Kati’s Route” story chapter, this title is a must for Japanophile gamers of all kinds.
The Nintendo Switch version of AKIBA’S TRIP: Undead and Undressed Director’s Cut is available digitally for $29.99/€29.99/£24.99, while a limited Day 1 Edition with physical media can be purchased in North America for $39.99. The title is rated “M for Mature” on console platforms by the ESRB, while the PC version is not rated.
