The Smurfs 2 – The Prisoner of the Green Stone announces its release date with a teaser

Help the Smurfs save their village from the clutches of the evil Stolas on November 2^nd!

Today, publisher Microids and IMPS have unveiled a teaser and new screenshots for The Smurfs 2 – The Prisoner of the Green Stone, an upcoming 3D adventure/platform video game set for release on November 2nd, 2023.

Developed by OSome Studio for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, the game marks the Smurfs’ 65th anniversary and brings a fresh and exciting storyline.

In The Smurfs 2 – The Prisoner of the Green Stone, Handy Smurf works on a revolutionary invention: the SmurfoMix. The missing ingredient is the Green Stone, which is currently in the clutches of evil wizard Gargamel. Players must join a crack team of 4 iconic Smurfs and embark on a mission to retrieve the Green Stone from Gargamel’s lab.

However, the Green Stone explodes, sending its fragments throughout the Cursed Land and unleashing the evil Stolas.

The Smurfs 2 – The Prisoner of the Green Stone features accessible and intuitive gameplay, with exploration, platforming, and combat thanks to the SmurfoMix.

Players can also collaborate with Gargamel and use his teleporters to travel the Cursed Land, collecting resources to improve the SmurfoMix throughout the adventure and discovering 3 brand new unexplored regions. Plus, gamers can team up with a friend or family member in co-op mode to double the fun.
