Everyone Is Invited To Enjoy a One-of-a-Kind Experience Inspired By the Games, Worlds and Characters of Nintendo and Nintendo Switch
Nintendo fans, rejoice! Nintendo Live 2023 is coming to Seattle from September 1-4, and registration for a chance to attend is now open.
Nintendo Live 2023 is a four-day event featuring a variety of activities for gamers of all ages and skill levels. Attendees can participate in gameplay of a variety of Nintendo Switch games, as well as meet their favorite characters, take pictures at photo opportunities, and compete in gaming tournaments.
The event will feature areas themed to an assortment of Nintendo games with different experiences and activities. There will be an area dedicated to Nintendo Switch gameplay, including games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Pikmin 4. There will also be a Nintendo Switch Online Classics Zone, as well as a Mario Dojo challenge featuring three rounds of three different Mario games.
Fans will also have a chance to meet and take photos with characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Kirby, Tom Nook, Isabelle, and K.K. Slider from the Animal Crossing games. There will be memorable photo opportunities, including a walkthrough of larger-than-life Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Pikmin 4 sculptures, a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate mural, and an immersive experience inspired by an idyllic island getaway setting from Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
In addition to the separate areas, Nintendo Live 2023 will feature a main stage with live performances of music from the Super Mario and Legend of Zelda series, as well as other entertainment. There will be high-level tournaments, as well as tournaments for fans with a range of skill levels.
Each day will feature a different competition, such as the Super Smash Bros. Squad Strike tournament on September 1, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 2023 Championships on September 2, the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo+me Exhibition 2023 on September 3, and the Splatoon 3 2023 Championships on September 4.
Finally, there will be a Nintendo POP-UP STORE at the event where attendees can browse and purchase a wide variety of merchandise.
Nintendo Live 2023 will take place from Sept. 1 through Sept. 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT every day in Arch at 705 Pike at the Seattle Convention Center.
