Replikator a Twin Stick Roguelite Shooter Releases This Friday

Indie publisher Ratalaika Games and Meridian4 have joined forces with Indie developer R_Games to announce the upcoming release of Replikator, an intense, eventful and addictive overhead shooter.

Players will battle hordes of enemies and explore the mysterious labyrinths of space stations in their quest to discover the truth about a deadly accident at a research complex.

Replikator offers a sci-fi setting with fast-paced, procedurally generated gameplay. Players will have access to dozens of weapons and implants (passive skills) to help them fight off enemies and survive. If the player’s character dies, they will be reborn at the beginning, but with the resources found, they can buy permanent improvements to move forward in the next run.

Players will take on the role of a group of mercenaries led by smuggler Khan. They will have to complete 12 levels, including 5 bosses, with the challenge increasing as they progress. To keep the playthroughs unique, the station mazes and items within them are procedurally generated.

Players will gradually uncover blueprints of new items and entries from the crew of the complex, revealing what happened.

The main goal is to get to the Replicator and defeat it. Replikator also features four playable characters – each with their own starting characteristics, preferred weapons, and special techniques. Dynamic battles and a variety of enemies and traps will keep players on their toes.

Replikator is set to launch on May 26th 2023 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Players can expect to finish the game in 8-9 hours, though it may take up to 30 hours to experience all the content.
