The latest game from the creators of irreverent indie hits An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs and Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator is now available
Today, independent publisher and developer Strange Scaffold released their latest project, Sunshine Shuffle. This crime-drama-meets-poker-sim game challenges players to uncover the truth behind a decade-old heist while out to sea, on a cozy little tugboat manned by adorable animals/bank robbers.
Set in a neo-noir atmosphere, Sunshine Shuffle players will engage in high-stakes Texas Hold ‘Em poker as they bluff, call, and raise their way to the top. In between hands, players will learn more about the Morning Shift and their lives before and after forming the infamous heist crew.
In addition to the poker and narrative adventure, players can also decorate the S.S. Sunshine with new cosmetics and props, or dress everyone up in unlockable outfits.
There are also rewards for careful strategy, such as a dice-themed carpet and plastic skeletons and fish bowls.
The game also features an original ska soundtrack from acclaimed musicians JER and RJ Lake.
