Astral Clocktower Studios has announced that an exclusive beta demo preview of their upcoming Dark Fantasy ARPG title Kristala will be available from May 10th to 24th. In the game, players take on the role of an anthropomorphic feline warrior on a mission to master the six magical specialties of the sacred Kristals.
Players will battle to restore peace to the planet Ailur, which has been transformed by a terrible curse into a world filled with monstrous beasts.
As they traverse through the six clan lands, they will be able to uncover a variety of weapons, spells, armor sets, and items that they can upgrade. Along the way, they will meet and interact with unique characters and explore a mysterious fantasy planet full of untold stories.
Kristala features three distinct classes – Brawn, Finesse, and Quality – as well as six magic specialties that correspond with the six playable clans.
There are also two distinct stats – Eminence and Malediction – that can be customized via stat and magic leveling, as well as a feline skill leveling tree. The game also promises fast-paced combat and strategic play, with quests, journal entries, and Kristal Memory pick up items to help tell the story.
