Gamers everywhere can now join Bat Boy in his quest to save his fellow sports stars from the clutches of Lord Vicious. Bat Boy, a nostalgic 8-bit platformer/adventure, is now available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
In Bat Boy, players play as Ryosuke, the high school student-turned-sports-hero. Ryosuke and his friends must battle against Lord Vicious, an interdimensional mage who has brainwashed Ryosuke’s squad in order to participate in the Trials of Darkness.
It’s up to Ryosuke to traverse a hostile world and free the minds of his sports-hero squad from the influence of Lord Vicious.
The game features 8-bit backdrops, exciting baseball-style combat, and a vast world of unique and exciting environments.
Players will battle dozens of enemies and exciting bosses, and encounter intriguing companions. They can also collect hidden secrets, collectibles, and unlockable music.
The game also features high-octane chiptunes from Evader Music, composer for Smelter and Super Sami Roll.
