Tower defense combined with action-RPG combat gets a physical Nintendo Switch release on May 11th.
Today, Super Rare Games has announced that they are teaming up with Chromatic Games to bring Dungeon Defenders Awakened to Nintendo Switch for the first time. This action-RPG tower defense game allows players to team up and defend Etheria from hordes of enemies.
In Dungeon Defenders Awakened, players can build their team and protect the Eternia crystals by assembling defensive blockades and damage-dealing towers. There are five Defenders to choose from, each with their own skills and special abilities. Players can also customize their heroes’ gear and look, as well as build their defenses.
The game also features an assortment of mode, including Survival Mode, Pure Strategy Mode, Mix Mode, and Rift Mode. Up to four players can join together online to fight off the enemy’s advance.
A total of 4,000 copies will be available for purchase worldwide exclusively at Super Rare Games on May 11th at 6pm BST (10am PDT/1pm EDT). Each standard release comes with all current Switch-released content on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards.
