XSEED Games Releases Modern Reimagining of ‘90s-era RPGs, Including Local Co-op with up to Three Players

XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today released Trinity Trigger, an all-new action role-playing game from esteemed developer FuRyu.

This title is now available for purchase digitally on all platforms, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5 and Windows PC via Steam and GoG, as a standard edition for $49.99, and a digital deluxe edition, which includes the “Extra Episode Set” and “Weapon Set” downloadable content bundles, for $59.99.

A physical Day 1 Edition of the title is also available for Nintendo Switch™ and PlayStation consoles at the XSEED Games Store and participating retailers for $59.99, which includes a softcover artbook brimming with 100 pages of artwork from Yuki Nobuteru and Raita Kazama alongside a two-disc soundtrack scored by composer Hiroki Kikuta, packaged together with the game in a custom outer box.

Trinity Trigger was inspired by the iconic RPGs of yesteryear, but its accessible and rewarding gameplay incorporates modern flourishes to make it an exciting new adventure.

Players take control of three young heroes as they attempt to defy fate and save the continent of Trinitia. Accompanying them are the Triggers, strange creatures with the unique ability to transform into eight types of weapons that players must master if they hope to be successful on their quest.

Master the Weapons of the Gods, seek out Trinitia’s Mysteries, and change the tide of battle with the Weapon Wheel.

To celebrate Trinity Trigger’s launch, the “Dad’s Keepsakes” DLC will be available for free through May 23 on all platforms. This title has been rated “E10+” for everyone ages 10 and up by the ESRB.
