Today, publisher One or Eight and developer Team EARTH WARS announce the arrival of LOST EPIC, the 2D Souls-like side-scrolling action RPG with fast-paced battles and hack-and-slash elements, on Nintendo Switch on Thursday, April 20, 2023.
In LOST EPIC, players take up arms in a war between gods and men as the God Slayer, defying eternal beings and ending their reign of fear imposed on humans. To achieve this, the God Slayer must seek out the evil rulers and their elite guardians in an interconnected, Metroidvania-like 2D world featuring character art by Namie (Fate/Grand Order, Arknights, Azur Lane).
Players must slay enemies to gain Anima and upgrade weapons and magic abilities after each victorious battle with an extensive skill tree. They can also execute and combine Divine skills to deliver ungodly levels of damage with beautiful animations, and absorb the powers of slain deities to discover new ways to journey further into the heavenly domain.
The game also features online cooperative multiplayer, raid bosses in Sky-Reaching Spire, and New Game+ featuring deadly encounters that yield new rewards. It also includes all the content introduced since the start of Early Access on Steam for PC, including the 1.01.7 update.
The digital artbook and soundtrack are both available today as part of the Premium Edition on PlayStation and as separate DLC for Steam. LOST EPIC is available on PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, and Steam for Windows PC for $19.99.
