Webbysoft and Armor Games Studios have announced that Bilkins’ Folly, the island-hopping narrative adventure about a boy and his puzzle-solving pup, will be coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4/5 alongside PC this year.

The game follows treasure-hunter Percival “Percy” Bilkins and his canine best friend Drayton on a quest to find their missing family, who mysteriously vanished years ago without a trace. A rogue wave leaves the pair stranded, shipless, and very sandy. With their mission derailed, Percy and Drayton set their sights on procuring a new ship, reuniting with their trusty crew, and getting back on track.

Bilkins’ Folly is a swashbuckling narrative adventure that allows players to explore gorgeous islands drenched in history and mystery, meet the regions’ quirky inhabitants, and use their cartography skills to map out sites to dig for riches.
Players can expand their ship’s crew by recruiting aspiring sailors to join their ranks, socialize with the many inhabitants of the islands, and customize their map to work for them by drawing lines and placing icons to aid them in their treasure-hunting escapades.
As the bond with Percy’s pup grows, Drayton will learn new tricks to open up untrodden paths, solve puzzles, and help players in their quest to find their family and unearth deeply buried secrets.
Bilkins’ Folly players can also fish for interesting sea creatures and record their findings in their journal, enter treasure-hunting competitions to earn trophies and bragging rights, and play charming minigames like picking locks and herding sheep.
