Fictiorama Studios Announces the Launch of Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 for Nintendo Switch and Steam in May.
Fictiorama Studios, the developers behind the award-winning game Do Not Feed the Monkeys, have announced the release of their highly anticipated sequel, Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099. The digital voyeur simulator is set in a dystopian world where spying is not only prevalent but also highly entertaining.
Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 will be available on Nintendo Switch and Steam on Thursday, May 25th, 2023. The game combines elements of narrative, investigation, surveillance, and resource management, and charges players with becoming master voyeurs as they spy on strangers through security cameras, observing and analyzing every aspect of their daily lives.
The game is set in the year 2099, where rapid advancements in technology, fueled by alien knowledge, have caused big corporations to sponsor planets. Earth is now a wasteland, stripped of resources, and humanity has spread across the galaxy. Humans, robots, and aliens now live side by side, creating a retro-futuristic dystopia.
Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 offers a satirical preview of a potential future where our most intimate secrets might be exposed. Players use the MonkeyVision app to manage hidden cameras and monitor cages, make observations, and search the internet to learn more about each subject. The game offers fresh technology, such as OmniPals, artificial intelligence represented by holograms that act as company promoters, and offer a window into the outside world.
Once players become familiar with the subjects, they can interact with them, hack security systems, make threatening phone calls, or even put their own flavor in an unusual beverage. But players must remember to abide by the Club rules and not feed the monkeys.
