Take control of a ‘professional’ pit crew and embrace the mayhem of a race-day garage with up to four players in Speed Crew, cruising onto Nintendo Switch in June 2023
Today, Wild Fields announced that their pit crew-inspired party game, Speed Crew, is set to release on Nintendo Switch on June 6, 2023. The game promises to deliver an experience of spontaneous chaos and effective strategy.
Speed Crew puts players in the shoes of a pit crew, where up to four players must replace tires, repair damage, and aim to get their drivers back on the track before time is up. As mechanics, players must handle a range of tasks, including tire changes, refuelling, and hammering out dents from damaged cars.
With over 40 different ways to fix cars, the game will test which crews have what it takes to reach the checkered flag.
Dynamic environments will also be included, such as moving floors, sudden weather changes, and locking gates – all of which will add complexity to the most simple of pit stops.
Speed Crew allows for both local and online cooperative play with up to four players, and even includes options to give underperforming crewmates a quick slap!
The game will also offer an extensive range of character and vehicle customisation options, as well as the chance to pay homage to the legends of motorsports with distinct levels set in different eras.
