Today, Hello Penguin Team and PID Games have announced the release dateof their new game, Vernal Edge. This 2D Metroidvania is a fast-paced adventure set in the Kingdom of Haricot, a mysterious series of floating islands ruled by the power-hungry Church of Aloe. Vernal Edge launches March 14th.
Players take on the role of Vernal, a young girl with an amnesiac automaton companion, Chervil. Through intense combat and exploration, Vernal will seek out her estranged father and take revenge for what he has done.
Along the way, she can acquire new powers to aid her in her quest.
Vernal Edge is now available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Players can look forward to a dynamic combat system and a variety of secrets hidden around the kingdom.
They are also free to explore Haricot in whatever order they choose.
