Today, The Arcade Crew and Ishtar Games have announced that their hit tactical RPG, The Last Spell, will be released on March 9 across Steam, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation consoles.

Gather intel on the brutal battles and distinct stages ahead, and see how defeat is never the end from new gameplay in today’s trailer.

An accompanying trailer reveals a pulse-spiking progressive metal soundtrack and the trove of options available to players as they grapple with attacks from swarms of foes.

The Last Spell promises intense turn-based combat and procedurally generated flanks of foes. Players will lead a randomized party of warriors in defending the last stronghold of humanity, the Havens.

The Last Spell combines Musou-style enemy armies, roguelite elements and advantage-dealing omens to provide a distinct, highly replayable challenge. The Haven’s defenders must learn to overcome disadvantages and the brute force of beastly hordes while gaining new skills and strategies.

Players can prepare for the battle for humanity’s future by wishlisting The Last Spell on Steam or entering Early Access. The Last Spell will release on March 9 and will offer multiple difficulties, unlockable upgrades and more to tailor the gaming experience.
