Rooftop Renegade Coming February 17th

The South Australian-based independent studio are pleased to announced their debut title Rooftop Renegade will be launching February 17, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

In Rooftop Renegade, you play as Svetlana avoiding capture from the evil Globacorp. The game offers fast-paced platforming, requiring quick reflexes and fast thinking as the Globacorp Gunners attempt to obstruct Svetlana’s path forward.

With an attention-to-detail for silky-smooth motion and high fidelity 3D graphics built in Unreal Engine 4, Rooftop Renegade offers a fluid experience that benefits fans of speedrunning and fast-paced platformers.

In October 2022, Melonhead Games showcased Rooftop Renegade as a PAX Aus 2022 Indie Showcase winner. At the event, attendants had the ability to vote for their favourite amongst the six winners and Rooftop Renegade was voted as the People’s Choice winner.

Rooftop Renegade began its development in 2018 at a Global Game Jam and since then, the team has been hard at work bringing their initial vision to life.

Since then, Rooftop Renegade has been garnered plenty of praise and awards, including the South Australian Film Corporation Games Innovation Fund in 2019, an Epic Games MegaGrant and a ‘Best In Show for Sound Design’ nomination at the GDEX Midwest Gaming Expo in 2020.

Master precise controls and smooth physics to get into the zone. Blast through levels at high speeds while chaining together abilities and making split-second pathway decisions. Pursued by the sinister Globacorp, avoid capture while avoiding hazards and traps caused by income fire from gunners.

EVERYBODY RUNS, EVERYBODY GUNS
Gear up to take on challenging levels alone or grab some controllers to disrupt your friends in chaotic offline multiplayer. Take turns in up to 3v1 asymmetric rounds to set your best time as the runner while your rivals disrupt you, then take control of a gunner to defend your record.

MIX IT UP
Create fresh challenges with the seed-based Generator Mode. Enter a keyword to dynamically generate a level from a variety of worlds, layouts, hazards, and enemy combinations. Pick your perfect loadout and dive into a new run to master.

Controllers are required for local multiplayer.
