PM Studios Announces Another Space Opera – Episode 1: The Wake of the Giant Coming Soon

This cinematic action-platformer rendered in hand-crafted pixel art brings a new sci-fi saga to life

PM Studios was ecstatic to announce that Another Space Opera – Episode 1: The Wake of the Giant is coming to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Developed by Terminist Arcade, Another Space Opera begins the story of a new epic sci-fi saga with hand-crafted pixel art and a full cast of voice actors to bring the game to life. Also if you’re attending PAX West later this week, we’ll have demos set up at PM Studios booth #425.

The Another Space Opera – Episode 1: The Wake of the Giant story begins at the end of the 23rd century, Earth is united under a gestalt technocratic order – reborn from the ashes of nuclear fire. Now reaching out to explore the stars, humanity finds itself dragged into the crossfire of yet another war: A bloody, supernatural conflict for the fate of the galaxy.

The ingredients that make up the unique “Hack-n-Blast” gameplay includes a tightly woven combination of gunplay, dodging, and melee fighting all making for a satisfying combat experience that is easy to learn but difficult to master. This is complimented by the procedurally generated loot which includes countless weapons, each with their own unique stats, appearances, names, and features with which to annihilate your foes.

Take a friend along to destroy over 30 unique enemies and work together to defeat challenging, immense bosses all while an incredible blockbuster cinematic soundtrack blasts in the background.
