HitGrab Inc. are thrilled to announce that their critically acclaimed 2D Platformer Clan O’Conall and the Crown of the Stag is coming to Nintendo Switch! Nominated for best art direction alongside Wytchwood and Far Cry 6 at the Canadian game awards, Clan O’Conall features fiendish bosses, edge of your seat platforming and rapid character swapping within the hand-painted, folklore-infused world of Hibernia.https://youtu.be/lfzzG5yNOo0

Fight as a Clan
Swap between Haggish, a heavyweight bruiser that lets his fists do the talking; Kilcannon, a midweight master of his trusty sword and javelin; and Clakshot, a noble sharpshooter as deadly with her bow as she is light on her feet.

Each of their unique ability sets must be used to solve puzzles, traverse the environment, and fight your way to the Mother of Demons! Where one hero fails, three can succeed – players are challenged to find the right time to swap between characters to continue the attack or survive a jump.

Protect the Crown!
Your epic quest in Clan O’Conall and the Crown of the Stag begins in the hand-painted, Celtic folklore inspired ruins, sculptures and natural wonders of the mortal realm of Hibernia. Escape the tusks of Twrch Trwyth, the giant rampaging hell-boar, decapitate the original headless horseman Dullahan, and take on the colossal cyclops Balor (among many others) as you leap, slash and punch through to the demon infested Fae world and battle Caoránach, the Mother of Demons who was kidnapped your father and stolen his crown!

Authentically Celtic
HitGrab’s art director Jacob Johnson and animator Kelly Conley traveled to Ireland, Wales, and England in order to research Celtic folklore at the source. Studying everything from archaeological sites to ancient manuscripts and bronze age Celtic art, the artistic design of Clan O’Conall and the Crown of the Stag is as vibrant as it is authentic, creating a beautiful, distinctive art style while staying true to the setting.
