The Longest Road on Earth is Coming to Consoles

The soothing greyscale pixel art and enchanting music of The Longest Road on Earth will be landing on consoles early next week on Thursday, January 27.

Originally released on PC in May of 2021 this title tells everyday stories which focus on the beauty of the mundane found in the world around us though four wordless chapters. The meaning behind each story is completely open to personal interpretation.

With minimal controls and no fail state, anyone can pick up this game and instantly get lost in the artwork and the over 20 original tracks created specifically for each scene.

The Longest Road on Earth is coming to PlayStation 4/5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X next Thursday with a price of $9.99USD/£7.99GBP/JP¥1010.

Finally, bring your existential crisis on the go. Developer Eggnut and publisher Raw Fury have announced that Backbone is coming to the Nintendo Switch on February 9. All languages released last fall will also be playable on Switch, including English, Japanese, French, German, Russian, Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, and Spanish.

About Backbone
Backbone is a post-noir narrative adventure that takes you deep into a dystopian, animal-inhabited Vancouver, BC.

Slip on racoon detective Howard Lotor’s iconic trench coat as you seek to uncover the truth in an increasingly dark case.

As you dig into the society’s corrupt class system, a deeply personal story of change and transformation will begin to unfold.

Lastly, in case you missed it, Eggnut revealed a new teaser in December, introducing a scene from a new Backbone game, also published by Raw Fury. More news to come.
