OneShot Announced For Nintendo Switch and Consoles in 2022

Future Cat LLC and DANGEN Entertainment have announced that OneShot will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One in 2022. The console port will be published worldwide by DANGEN Entertainment and will include new, console-specific features by developer Future Cat LLC. A new teaser trailer has been released showing the main character, Niko, hinting at a different world than the PC.

Originally released in 2016 for PC, OneShot is a top down puzzle adventure that follows a child named Niko who is tasked with returning light to a desolate world that has been shrouded in darkness. The indie title achieved international acclaim for its clever story and use of metafictional elements, in which the game is aware of the player, who plays a functional role in the story. This announcement commemorates the OneShot’s 5th anniversary.

“We hope you look forward to seeing Niko on consoles,” says OneShot developer Future Cat LLC, a small studio focused on bringing strong narrative-driven experiences to gamers.

The console port will be localized in English, Japanese, Spanish (Castillan), French, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Russian. Details regarding the console features will be revealed at a later date.
