Charge Kid

A challenging 2D platformer where every jump is a puzzle!

Charge Kid is the first game release by Brazilian developers Ayrton, Rafael and Vincente. It brings back the experience of old-fashioned platformers where each movement counts. Charge Kid’s gameplay bears some similarities with the likes of Super Meat BoyPortal and Celeste, where you beat each level with clever use of game mechanics and within the limited resources. Today Polish console publisher Pineapple Works makes it possible to experience this wonderful puzzle game on Nintendo console!

In Charge Kid, your main goal is to beat all the levels, but bear in mind that this will not be an easy task. From the first level your job is to calculate each movement and find clever solutions to move forward. This makes Charge Kid more than just a regular platformer, forcing you to think logically and act with precision. The challenging gameplay is spread across 17 levels which might not seem like much but it will take the average player many hours to master.

Key features:

  • Tight controls and fluid movement.
  • Challenging gameplay.
  • Puzzles with multiple solutions.
  • Cute and minimalistic pixel art.
  • Slick sound effects and music.
  • Overall nostalgic vibe and tribute to retro platformers.
