Lightwood Delivers the Gift of Free Picross Puzzles on Nintendo Switch!

13th December 2018 – Staffordshire, UK – The team at Lightwood Games have put on their Santa hats to announce a special playable demo for Nintendo Switch. A free Christmas-themed trial version Pic-a-Pix Pieces is now available on the Nintendo eShop, but only for a limited time!

The Christmas demo offers a preview of this new game with two seasonal pictures, which will be fully revealed after solving 18 full-color Pic-a-Pix puzzle pieces.

Pic-a-Pix is a picture logic game, sometimes known as Picross, Nonogram or Hanjie, where whimsical pixel-art pictures are created by solving puzzles.

In Pic-a-Pix Pieces, large pictures have been split into a number of smaller pieces. Each piece is a puzzle grid, and by solving them all you’ll form a mosaic that reveals a spectacular final image.

Lightwood Games previously released Pic-a-Pix Deluxe on Nintendo Switch, and this game includes all the key features from the previous title, including the most recent refinements, such as touch-screen controls, co-operative play for up to 4 players and a flexible colorblind mode.

Pic-a-Pix Pieces will be available to download on January 3rd, 2018 on the Nintendo eShop.  Pre-orders are now open.

Lightwood Games will continue to support both Pic-a-Pix Pieces and Pic-a-Pix Deluxe throughout 2019, with new monthly DLC puzzle packs.

Pic-a-Pix Pieces supports English, French, German and Spanish.
