ROB DYER JOINS CAPCOM U.S.A. AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Veteran Video Game Industry Executive to Lead Business Operations for World-Class Publisher of Popular Video Game Series

SAN FRANCISCO – Nov. 12, 2018 – Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced that Rob Dyer has joined Capcom U.S.A., Inc. as chief operating officer. Reporting to CEO Kiichiro Urata, Dyer will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s publishing business including sales, marketing and operations in the Americas.

With more than 25 years of experience in the video game industry, Dyer has held various leadership roles with companies such as Sony Computer Entertainment America, Zynga, Eidos Interactive, Crave Entertainment Group and more. He has had extensive experience leading initiatives on a global scale to drive sales and growth.

“Rob’s strategic acumen, deep industry knowledge and established networks will play a vital role for Capcom’s business goals,” said Kiichiro Urata. “He will help steer the success of our incredible portfolio of popular brands such as Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Devil May Cry, and more.”
