A few new titles made the latest ranking, and others went up due to having a month full of good deals. Let’s take a look at the most downloaded titles in the past month in the American eShop (period of reference: October 1st – October 31st).
Fortnite is the most downloaded game still, but there’s quite a bit of activity right behind it, with Super Mario Party going from 6th to 2nd after it became fully available. Dragon Ball Fighter Z seeing a major increase compared to September (from 26th to 7th), as well as a hand full of brand new titles entering the Top 10: Dark Souls Remastered is the second highest new entry at 5th, followed by Mega Man 11 (6th) and the digital version of Starlink: Battle for Atlas at 9th for the month.
Other new titles in Top 30 include My Hero Academia: One’s Justice at 17th, The World Ends with You: Final Remix hitting 21st, FIFA 19 at 22nd, Arena of Valor 25th, Mark of the Ninja: Remastered falling in at 28th, and The Jackbox Party Pack 5 entering at 30th for this month. The pre-purchase version of Diablo III: Eternal Collection hit 23rd, despite the fact it wasn’t fully available.
Promotions helped several games to increase their sales, as both Overcooked! 2 at 3rd and Overcooked Special Edition making it to 11th demonstrate. Don’t forget Darkest Dungeon re-appearing at 19th and Okami HD going up from 25th to 15th compared to last month as well..
