XSEED Games Announces a Launch Date for Developer DMM GAMES’ Unique Nintendo Switch Exclusive, Opens Preorders for ‘World Tour’ Retail Edition with Sticker Sheet and Bundled DLC

Torrance, Calif. – October 11, 2018 – XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today announced that Gal Metal, the free-form rhythm title from developer DMM GAMES, will launch digitally and at retail for Nintendo Switch^TM on Tuesday, October 30. The game will be available digitally on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99, with the “Encore Pack” DLC available on the same day for $9.99 adding five new characters, each with their own unique story episode and song.

Fans can pre-purchase the game from the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch starting October 18. Get ready to rock out using the Joy-Con^TM controller to create unique rhythms by way of easy-to-learn yet difficult-to-master drumlines.

Hardcore metalheads can preorder the “World Tour Edition” of Gal Metal at select retailers for an MSRP of $39.99. The “World Tour Edition” includes the base game and “Encore Pack” DLC bundled together on the same Nintendo Switch cartridge, along with an instruction manual and a previously unannounced exclusive set of Heavy Metal Stickers. These stickers feature an assortment of in-game characters.

Gal Metal is a rhythm game designed for Nintendo Switch that turns the Joy-Con into drumsticks. Players will take hold of the Joy-Con and rock along with the music in order to repel would-be alien conquerors. This is accomplished by creating complex performances and racking up millions of points using personal free-form drumlines based on over a dozen different beats. With Nintendo Switch^TM Pro Controller support on offer as well, players will be able to choose how they want to jam and earn metal power to use against these nefarious invaders in this uniquely adlib-friendly rhythm experience.
