Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate comes to Nintendo Switch!
The highly anticipated Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, the follow up to Monster Hunter Generations, marks the series debut on Nintendo Switch as an exclusive when it launches on August 28, 2018 for digital and physical retail purchase across North America and Europe. For the first time, gamers have the flexibility to play both local wireless and online multiplayer with up to three other hunters – whether playing at home on the big screen or on the go in handheld or tabletop mode. In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new games weekly to Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo Switch console, the Wii U console and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service that features a wide variety of content, including new and classic games, applications and demos. Users can add money to their account balances by using a credit card or purchasing a Nintendo eShop Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. All funds from one card must be loaded in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch, Wii U or the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, but can be used in any Nintendo eShop if the systems are linked to a single Nintendo Account. Nintendo Announces New Adjustable Charging Stand for Nintendo Switch
Launching on July 13 at a suggested retail price of $19.99, a new adjustable charging stand for the Nintendo Switch system makes playing in Tabletop mode easier than ever. With a handy port for an AC adapter on the side, the adjustable charging stand allows the Nintendo Switch system to be charging while in Tabletop mode, enabling longer play sessions. The angle of the stand can also be adjusted to create the best viewing angle for different environments. Nintendo Switch can be played in three modes: TV mode, Handheld mode and Tabletop mode. Tabletop mode lets players set up the Nintendo Switch system to play games on the go without the need for a TV. Nintendo Announces the Participants in the Super Smash Bros. Invitational 2018 Tournament
Super Smash Bros. Invitational 2018 Tournament Who will emerge victorious when eight talented players from around the world compete in the Super Smash Bros. game for the Nintendo Switch system? The world will find out during the Super Smash Bros. Invitational 2018 tournament taking place the same week as the E3 2018 trade show in Los Angeles. In a recently released video, shown above, Nintendo revealed a global list of invited players that will compete to see who will reign supreme in the upcoming livestreamed event. E3 2018 Press Conference Schedule (So Far)
E3 is almost upon us. Believe it or not, E3 2018 is almost here. The annual gaming extravaganza returns to Los Angeles in June for what is poised to be one of the biggest week’s all year for gaming news. Much of the news is expected to come from the various press conferences taking place during the week. Microsoft, Bethesda, and EA have already announced the date and time of their briefings, while we’re expecting Sony, Nintendo, Ubisoft, and others to follow soon. EA kicks things off on Saturday, June 9, with its EA Play briefing, while Microsoft and Bethesda will follow on Sunday afternoon and evening, respectively. Ubisoft will follow Monday afternoon, with Sony’s presentation expected later that evening. Nintendo then keeps things moving with its briefing on the morning of June 12.
