Both PS4 and PS Vita versions of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X will Arrive In Stores and on PSN on Aug. 30
There's lots of news here for Hatsune Miku fans! First, we have some launch information: the game's price will be $49.99/CA$64.99 for the PlayStation 4 version, and $39.99/CA$54.99 for the PlayStation Vita version! Both games will launch on Aug. 30 (and unlike the Japan release, the game on both platforms will be called Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X; there's no "HD" for the PS4 version in the Americas).
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!
We're including a special Miku item for pre-orders and launch day copies (while supplies last, natch)! Included in both the PS4 and PS Vita version will be a special Hatsune Miku pouch, adorned with the symbols of the five new auras that are central to its new style of gameplay!
In Project DIVA X, players help Miku and her friends sing and dance their way through five Clouds that comprise their world! Each Cloud has its own unique aura -- Classic, Cool, Cute, Elegant, and Quirky -- that will offer different challenges for players to fulfill. Moreover, the auras of the 30 new and classic songs they perform, and the nearly 300 modules (costumes) they'll wear, will have an important impact on the many different challenges.
There's also a new Concert Editor feature, which allows players to take on the role of producer by customizing their own shows with unlocked songs, modules, and accessories! And just as was announced for the Japanese version, the Concert Editor's Live View mode will support PlayStation VR! Support will be enabled after the launch of PSVR as a free digital update.
In between bouts of intense rhythm gameplay fueled entirely by the creative, collaborative Miku community, players can interact with Miku and her friends and forge relationships!
