The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points™, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Wii Points Card™ and Nintendo DSi Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii Shop Channel or the Nintendo DSi Shop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

Kid Icarus™ 3D Anime - Thanatos RisingKid Icarus™ 3D Anime Thanatos Rising – Nintendo is working together with three of Japan's renowned anime studios to produce short 3D animations set in the world of Kid Icarus. These videos contain unique story lines and are not representative of the content found within the Kid Icarus: Uprising game.

Nintendo is partnering with renowned Japanese animation studios to celebrate the Kid Icarus franchise and bring their latest creations exclusively to Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Video. The first anime series, Production I.G is producing Thanatos Rising, a movie featuring the angel Pit and his battle against one of Medusa's minions.

Production I.G is an animation studio which was established in 1987. Ensuring consistency and quality throughout the production process, from concept to completion, the studio is currently developing a worldwide presence.

Pirates Assault is tower defense game that brings a little twist to the genre. A treasure must be protected, and to accomplish that you have to build the best defense strategy. Even if some pieces of the treasure are stolen, they can be retrieved as long as the enemy that stole your treasure is on the screen and alive.

If the enemy is sunk, that piece of treasure can’t be recovered.

Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa's Revenge™Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa's Revenge™ - Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa's Revenge is the fourth installment in the Samurai Shodown series launched in 1996.

The combat system is essentially the same as in the third installment, Blades of Blood, with tweaks added to enhance the combat experience, such as a vastly altered Rage Explosion System and more powerful chain combos.

The ending also changes depending on the time taken to clear the game, encouraging players to improve their skills and speed if they want to see the One True Ending. Players can choose from 17 samurai warriors, including new characters Kazuki Kazama and Sogetsu Kazama, to battle their way through the game.

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new titles to the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo 3DS™ system, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console at 9 a.m. Pacific time on Thursdays.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service and features games, applications and videos in both 2D and 3D. Users can add money to their virtual wallets using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card.
